Italian Herbed Dip - serves 10
2 tbsp thawed frozen egg substitute
1 small garlic clove
1/4 cup each olive oil and finely chopped green onions
1 tbsp each finely chopped fresh basil and Italian(flat-leaf) parsley
1/4 tsp oregano leaves
In blender combine first 3 ingredients and process until combined. With motor running, gradually add oil in a steady steam until mixture thickens.
Transfer mixture to bowl, stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 15 minutes.
This party dip is also great as a salad dressing.
